DBB is an organization raising awareness about the issues concerning the construction of the Trans Pecos pipeline in the Big Bend region of West Texas. Through Eminent Domain, Energy Transfer Partners (the same company that lead the Dakota Access pipeline) were able to seize private lands for "public use." That, along with environmental and cultural concerns, have allied unexpected groups in the region, and garnered bipartisan support for halting the construction of the pipeline. For this project, the design needed to be bold and confident, as well as broadly appealing, with the hopes that you might see an 4th generation ranch hand and a Marfa gallery owner wearing the same hat in solidarity.
